Château Cantenac Brown

Margaux

Château Cantenac Brown is a third Grand Cru Classé 1855. It was founded by the Scottish businessman John Lewis Brown, who bought the château in 1803.

UNE HISTOIRE

En quelques mots

The Scottish inspiration is found even in the castle itself. In the neo-Tudor style, this totally atypical construction is instantly recognizable.
The Château is today owned by the Le Lous family. Very committed, the Le Lous family is giving new impetus to Cantenac Brown, thanks to the close collaboration between Tristan Le Lous, representative of the family, and José Sanfins, General Manager and Winemaker of the property.
The majority of the vineyard is spread over the prestigious plateaus of Margaux and Cantenac.
The Château is surrounded by a sumptuous park, heir to the arboretum initially planted by John Lewis Brown, supplemented over the years by rare tree species forming a precious collection.
