Château Troplong Mondot

Saint-Émilion Grand Cru

Château Troplong Mondot, a Saint-Emilion Premier Grand Cru Classé, elegantly stands out thanks to its wine profile, vineyard management (the vineyard is laid out like a garden) and approach to welcoming visitors.

A STORY

In few words

Situated on the highest point of the appellation, this 43-hectare estate with vines grown in a single block benefits from ideal sun exposure and geological conditions. The unique diversity of the soils produces powerful, elegant, complex and precise wines.

Troplong Mondot is set against a serene backdrop, with breathtaking views of the village of Saint-Emilion. With its elegant, chic country style rooms, immersive vineyard tours aboard an old Land Rover and a Michelin-starred restaurant, guests are sure to enjoy an unforgettable experience.

The estate has been committed to environmental protection for several decades, based on horse-drawn methods throughout the vineyards, no herbicides / no insecticides, permaculture gardens, chickens and pigs to eliminate 100% of organic waste, and the transformation of vine cuttings into pellets used to heat all the buildings. Since 2021, Troplong Mondot has been a Silver member of the International Wineries for Climate Action, which is committed to carbon neutrality by 2050.
