Its cosy interior is filled with stories, highquality fabrics and materials. Outside, the terraces of the Médoc peninsula are perfectly suited to the château’s grape varieties. Composed of deep gravel and clay, fine gravel and clay-limestone soils, Rauzan’s patchwork of terroirs are just waiting to be revealed. Man observes the vineyards and carefully tends to the vines to uncover the ultimate jewel, the blend of the year. The wines are the epitome of timeless charm. Seemingly delicate, they go on to reveal inner depth and are the subtle combination of finesse and smoothness.
Château Rauzan-Ségla has belonged to the Chanel group since 1994. Currently under conversion to organic viticulture, it will produce its first certified vintage in 2024.
