In 1987, the Gervoson family purchased the estate and dedicated themselves to restoring it to its former glory.
The vineyard spans 100 hectares, including 75 hectares of vines on a patchwork of soils.
The estate is a magnificent manor house dating back to the 19th century, surrounded by 12 hectares of grounds providing a haven for biodiversity in the heart of the town of Léognan.
Nowadays, three technicians, Bruno, Charlotte and François, work in close collaboration to inject a new technical impetus. They are dedicated to showcasing the full potential of the estate’s vineyards.
The vessels are adapted to the identity of each plot, resulting in bespoke ageing in 12 concrete eggs, 14 oak vats, 16 large casks, 31 concrete vats, 48 amphorae and nearly 500 barrels. The estate produces very elegant, well-balanced and fruity wines with good length on the palate. These easygoing wines can be enjoyed now or in a few years’ time.
