Château Labégorce

Margaux

From the thorn bushes suggested by the etymology of “gorsse” to the splendid vineyards of Labégorce today, generations of lords and farmers have succeeded one another since 1332 to shape the identity of Château Labégorce.

A STORY

In a few words

Hubert Perrodo instantly fell in love with the estate in 1989, following in the footsteps of those who have cherished this land over the centuries. The encounter of this historic Margaux terroir with the ideals of a visionary patriarch signalled a new chapter in the history of Labégorce, culminating in the bold challenge of reunifying the estate, which was once divided into three (Labégorce Margaux, Labégorce Zédé and L’abbé Gorsse de Gorsse).

Labégorce evokes the heart and soul of this place, where great wines have been made for centuries. A brilliantly fruity wine with great finesse, a wine that brings people together, a place where people care for each other.

Today, on behalf of her family, Nathalie Perrodo Samani is responsible for looking after Château Labégorce, as well as the classified great growth Châteaux Marquis d’Alesme Becker, and La Tour de Mons, both historic Margaux growths.
