Château-Figeac

Saint-Émilion Grand Cru

FAMILLE MANONCOURT

Château-Figeac, a Saint-Emilion Premier Grand Cru Classé “A”, has belonged to the family of Thierry Manoncourt – one of the founders of the UGCB – for over 130 years.

A STORY

In a few words

With its XVIII century château, 13 hectares of grounds and 41 hectares of vines in a single block, the estate is one of the most prestigious in the Bordeaux region.

Château-Figeac wines owe their greatness to an outstanding terroir, shaped by three gravelly rises on a blue clay subsoil, and grape varieties consisting of 2/3 Cabernet and 1/3 Merlot. Thanks to this unique combination, Château-Figeac produces very fine, complex and elegant wines with good freshness and remarkable length on the palate.

In 2021, the estate inaugurated new cellars and reception areas, to perpetuate its values of excellence and authenticity.
