Château Croizet-Bages

Pauillac

Famille Quié

Château Croizet-Bages takes its name from the Croizet brothers, who created the estate in the XVII century in the heart of the famous hamlet of Bages in Pauillac

A STORY

In a few words

In 1855, it was ranked a fifth growth in the imperial classification. The wine again received special recognition at the 1878 and 1889 Universal Exhibitions, reflected in the gold medals featured on the label. Paul Quié clearly saw the potential of this great growth when he acquired it in 1942. His grandchildren, AnneFrançoise and Jean-Philippe now run the estate and have brought it into the modern era by fine-tuning each stage in the winemaking process. Château Croizet-Bages is a generous, opulent and expressive wine with a very powerful bouquet reminiscent of black fruit, spices, and cedar, underpinned by a fine tannic texture.
