Château Bouscaut

Pessac-Léognan

FAMILLE LURTON-COGOMBLES

Château Bouscaut is one of the six Bordeaux great growths classified both in red and white.

A STORY

In a few words

This estate has belonged to the Lurton family since 1979. It has been in the hands of Sophie Lurton and her husband Laurent Cogombles for the past 30 years.

“The Bouscaut terroir is comprised primarily of good clay and gravel on a limestone subsoil. This large layer of limestone is conducive to perfect ripeness, even during warm years, ensuring well-balanced wines with wonderful freshness.

Along with our strong, dynamic team, we are dedicated to preserving the integrity of this family estate and developing it in keeping with our values of precision, close ties, and respecting the terroir and the environment.”
