The Sichel family, who have lived at the estate and produced wine since 1961, are keen on preserving its timeless heritage. Benjamin Sichel has managed the estate since 1989 and is dedicated to optimising the natural balance of the vines. He considers the vineyard as a natural, self-regulating ecosystem that the winegrower should simply support. In the early 2000s, he decided to convert the entire vineyard to biodynamic viticulture. The transformation of the grapes into wine must respect what happens in the vineyard, from harvesting by hand to concrete vats for fermenting the wine, to French oak barrels and terracotta amphorae.
Our aim is to make wines that resonate with tasters, which appeal to the senses and are an invitation to discussion.
