Château Cantemerle

Haut-Médoc

Groupe SMA

More than simply a terroir, Château Cantemerle is a territory. Its grounds and forests, which date back to the XIII century, are the original “green lung” of the estate.

A STORY

In a few words

The surrounding vineyards are planted on a great gravelly terroir and plot division has remained unchanged since the 1855 classification.

This unique terroir, where the vines are 40 years old on average, produces delicate wines with a rare aromatic complexity.

Enjoyable while young, they are rich, powerful and velvety, and renowned for their outstanding ageing potential.

The high standards and considerable involvement of our teams is also reflected in the estate’s eco-friendly commitments. The HEV-certified estate has made it its mission to enhance its natural spaces in order to preserve its ecosystems and biodiversity.
