When they arrived at the estate in 1929, the Dourthe brothers, Roger and André, devoted their efforts to expanding the vineyards, attaining 20 hectares in 1967. Thanks to impetus from Philippe Dourthe, Roger’s son, the estate expanded with a further 67 hectares of vines over a forty-year period. In 2007, Philippe Dourthe handed over management to his children: Caroline, Pascal, and Magali. A fully-qualified team respectful of the Dourthe winemaking philosophy is now in charge of the estate. Our wines are the result of a meticulous selection of grapes in the vineyard, as well as precision winemaking and ageing. They are appreciated throughout the world by professionals and wine enthusiasts alike.
As forerunners of wine tourism, we welcome visitors all year round to discover the Museum of the Arts and Crafts of the Vine and Wine as well as our state-ofthe- art winemaking facilities.
