Château Monbrison

Margaux

Ideally located in the heart of the Margaux appellation, Château Monbrison is a family estate owned by the Davis-Vonderheyden family for nearly a century.

A STORY

In a few words

It benefits from an outstanding location, nestled at the end of a beautiful path lined with umbrella pines, in a century-old park. Situated on the highest plateaux in the Margaux appellation, the estate is surrounded on all sides by 12.5 hectares of vines, rooted in fine, deep gravel.

The estate’s philosophy revolves around its ongoing quest to preserve the intrinsic characteristics of the terroir. The golden rule lies in combining tradition and modernity.

Monbrison wines are quintessentially aromatic, fruity, and elegant. The estate’s world-famous reputation continues to attract new, loyal enthusiasts.

In January 2018, Laurent Vonderheyden’s youngest daughter, Alix, joined her father to manage Château Monbrison and shape its destiny.
