Château Ormes de Pez

Saint-Estèphe

FAMILLE CAZES

Château Ormes de Pez dates back to the mid-XVIII century

A STORY

In a few words

Located on the edge of the hamlet of Pez, west of Saint-Estèphe, the estate owes its name to a magnificent group of elm trees. Alongside Château Lynch-Bages, Château Ormes de Pez is the second estate to be acquired by Jean-Charles Cazes in the late 1930s.

In the past ten years, significant restructuring work has been undertaken in the vineyards to better adapt the vines to the type of soil. New grape varieties have been planted in the vineyards in order to achieve even and optimum ripeness on each plot.

An authentic expression of its terroir, Château Ormes de Pez is harmonious, spicy and elegant. It is a full-bodied wine with powerful tannins and a smooth finish.
